I have been going back over some older photos and reworking them. Using some new skills and improved taste to hopefully do a better job in post with them. Enjoy.
Its getting to be Fall here in the Mid-West, that means Marigolds seems to be everywhere. Here are a couple from our garden I took with a new lens I was trying out. Nikon 50mm.
Some shots of a lonesome highway running through the Southwest New Mexico desert.
Shots were taken with my DJI Mavic Air drone and combined in Lightroom.
This little lady kept getting in the way while I was working on my porch lights. Almost got smashed a couple of times. Finally got out the D7200 and Tamron 70-300 macro lens and got a few shots. Used Photoshop to focus stack a few images to get a fairly good shot.
Some pretty flowers that have waited a long time to bloom. Trying out the new camera today. Nikon D7200, seems to do a great job. Hopefully it will be producing a lot of content for this site in the coming days and months.
I have some more experimentation to do with the new camera and some new lenses that I recently picked up.
Out looking at the moon tonight. Shot through Celestron C8 scope with Nikon 7200.
Got out of the truck for a nice long walk and some photography. Beautiful sunny day along the Snake River flowing through Idaho.
This area of lies along the Oregon trail though Idaho. Along this route in the mid 1800s approximately 400,000 settlers traveled the trail from Missouri to Oregon.
Not far from this spot is Massacre Rock, a narrow passage along the Oregon Trail where in August 1862 a wagon train was attacked by Indians ending in the death of 10 settlers. Hence the name Massacre Rock.
The rest area West of America Falls, ID offers access to the trails along the cliffs above the river. The area is teaming with wildlife, lots of birds, including Bald Eagles. A great area to take some photos and stretch your legs. Do be mindful of your step though, there are some snakes.
Here is more on the trail https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oregon_Trail
Pics from one of my earlier drone flights. These were taken with the little DJI Spark.
One of my favorite spots. Table Rock Lake in Southern Missouri. This photo was taken at sunset on the Fourth of July.
