To continue what has become bird week, here are a couple of a Mockingbird I shot. Not the best side but when he turned to look at me I was able to get some nice head and tail shots.

Christmas Lens
I added a new lens for Christmas, a Tamron 150-600 g2, long zoom lens. Hope to catch more wildlife and bird photos for the site.
Some Artwork
Spent a few hours on this one. I have been learning some new skills and how to use Corel Painter. Between youtube and lots of use of ctrl z(undo), I think it turned out pretty nice. Painting of the Grand-dog, Bravo.
Old West
Take a little step back to a simpler time. When the West was still wild and horses were the only form of transport.
Experimenting with Digital Art
I have been investigating another line of art work beyond just photos. Recently picked up a copy of Corel Painter 2021 and have been learning how to use it. Its not s difficult as tring to figure out Photoshop.
Here are a couple of examples…
These are actually painted on computer. Based on some of my photos.
Another Walk in the Swamp
Took the camera out for a little nature hike on a sunny summer day. I guest the critters were also out enjoying the hot summer weather.
Contact me if you would like to purchase copies of any of these images.
Swamp Walk
Took a walk along a Louisiana swamp and go a few shots. Not the best, wrong time of day but it got me out for a little exercise.
A Little Macro
This little lady kept getting in the way while I was working on my porch lights. Almost got smashed a couple of times. Finally got out the D7200 and Tamron 70-300 macro lens and got a few shots. Used Photoshop to focus stack a few images to get a fairly good shot.
